Roughly, one year ago today.

My daughter and I took the dogs on the Carolina Thread Trail, just behind Millbridge.

Sparky is the oldest, he is a Teddy Bear Tea Cup.

He’s a Bichon Frise and Shih Tzu mix.

He is my first boy dog EVER.

He is somethin’ special, I will leave it at that.

Charlee is a Goldendoodle.

She was just a puppy and weighed about 30 lbs.

We got them ready to go and in the car.

The Carolina Thread Trail is close to my townhouse.

It’s about 3 miles up the road.

She wanted to walk the dogs.

So I let her.

The dogs were really uncooperative.

As we got further into the woods they started pulling her around.

I was concerned she would fall.

Or, ME.

The tree roots grow above ground here.

It’s hard to watch your step with two dogs yanking you.

It was a busy day.

Lots of families hiking and biking the trail.

I saw a Boy Scout troop coming in the distance.

I shouted to her, “I better take the dogs!”

I caught up to her and grabbed the leash.

They were yanking and pulling.

Overly excited to see all the people.

I had absolutely no control.

So I kept saying to myself,

“Charlee, Sparky heel”

“Charlee, Sparky heel”

“Charlee, Sparky heel”

I kept saying it over and over under my breath.

I could not afford to fall and be out of work.

I had just bought my townhouse and I got bills to pay.

I took one more step and this ENERGY came to me.

It came to my right dominant hand, the hand I was holding the leash in.

The ENERGY tugged the leash back.

It was like the Dog Whisperer greeted me on the trail.

The dogs began to walk like they had been professionally trained.

And, they had never been trained.

Neither one.

I got Sparky right after my divorce.

And, Charlee after I finished my Graphic Design degree.

Now, let me remind you.

My daughter is with me.

She was walking in front of us while I had taken the dogs over.

I shouted, “turn around, look at me,” like a little kid.

She looked at me and said, “mom your freaking me out!”

I’m sure I did.

I said, “look at the dogs, look how calm they are now.”

She said, “my mom has Harry Potter moves, and this is weird!”

This was the first time she witnessed it.

Did I walk into this field of ENERGY or did it come because I needed it?

Dogs in line, calmly walking, I felt in control.

NOW, I was a responsible pet owner.

I could breathe and it felt good.

We passed a man with a dog on the bridge.

They stood there smiling and starring at us.

Did he feel it too?

Was he in the field of ENERGY?

I was GLOWING!

It was the most AMAZING feeling EVER.

It was this high vibrational ENERGY.

I was smiling ear to ear.

And,

Then it was gone, just like that.

It stayed with me for about 15 minutes.

I wanted to tell EVERYONE.

It took me some time to open up.

I eventually did and now I am sharing with you.

It was by far the most MAGICAL experience EVER!
